About

After ten years working in Wall Street’s top institutions, Sean Largotta made it his mission to disrupt the hospitality space.

As Managing Partner, Largotta relies on his strong financial background to manage risk in the hospitality industry, but his passion for food and beverage and design started long before owning and operating some of NYC’s most popular restaurants.

At a young age, Largotta began working in his family’s butcher shop and restaurants in Brooklyn.   Working under the tutelage of his father and grandfather, he learned firsthand how to run a business and what it takes to work hard, create quality food and offer unbridled service. These lessons remain with him to this day.

In 2010, Largotta opened American bistro The Lion in the West Village, followed by high-end sports pub The Windsor a few months later in the same neighborhood. Voted by Vogue as top 5 sexiest sports lounges in America.  He debuted Crown, his French-American fine dining restaurant in 2011 on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.  Which was the home of the famous Anna Wintour's Met Ball after party. Sean currently has 6 restaurants in New York City, including classic New York steakhouse Bill’s Food & Drink in Midtown and another outpost of The Windsor at the Gansevoort Park Avenue Hotel.

Largotta’s latest project marks his foray into hotels with the launch of Il Principe in summer 2014.  The sophisticated restaurant located on the ground floor of Hotel Hugo in downtown Manhattan offered authentic Italian comfort food. Sean brought in Carlo Bigi from Torino, this Michelin trained chef whose fathers 2 restaurant in. And introduced the Bar Hugo lounge which is located on the top floor with unobstructed views on the Hudson, Wtc and Statue of Liberty.

Certified in hotel revenue management from Cornell University, his hybrid experience in the kitchen, the boardroom and the classroom has helped Largotta develop a remarkably efficient operating model that keeps costs at Crown properties below the industry average and consistently yields investors greater returns. His business savvy and ingenuity were recognized in 2011 when Haute Living Magazine recognized him as one New York’s most influential people.  Largotta has also been featured in The New York Times, WWD and Hospitality Design, among other publications.

Currently, alongside being the owners’ rep for The Gansevoort Hotel Group, Sean is the Managing Partner and Founder of the Seven24 Collective, where he is responsible for the overall strategy, conceptualization and development of the Seven24 Brand in the United States, Europe and Asia.
